Rainmaking with Silver

Did you know that silver iodide can be used to coax rain out of the clouds?

This method of cloud seeding has proven effective in the Snowy Mountains of Australia and the Sierra Nevada in the United States. By increasing winter snowpack in agricultural regions that experience droughts in the summer, it is possible to feed rivers for a longer period of time than if no cloud seeding was done. Check out this fascinating look at weather modification using silver as a nucleation agent for rainfall.

Welcome to the Endeavour Silver Hub – a place to learn about silver and how the silver industry works.

Since we launched our Silver Series of videos a little over two years ago, we've discovered that there's a lot people don't know about silver.

We want to change that, and the Silver Hub is a good way to start.

Silver plays a vital role in many industries, and we are proud of our role in producing it. Silver is why we are in business, and we want you to know what we know. We welcome your feedback. Please submit comments to info@edrsilver.com.
